Surface Eddy Current Flaw Detection and Natural Frequency — All in One
MRLing's patented all-in-one machine combining surface eddy current flaw detection with natural frequency measurement in a single station. Its natural frequency sensor can use a microphone or an accelerometer.
The M50-X is a versatile, patented all-in-one machine that combines surface eddy current flaw detection with natural frequency measurement in one station. It detects surface defects while analysing the disc's resonance behaviour using FFT analysis up to 20 kHz.
The natural frequency measurement can use either a microphone or an accelerometer as its sensor. Covering disc diameters from 255mm to 360mm, the M50-X runs on a 220V 5kW supply with 4–6 bar air and weighs 1.5t. The design is protected by MRLing invention patent CN108918658A.
Detects surface cracks and defects on brake discs.
Measures the disc's natural frequency by FFT analysis up to 20 kHz.
Both inspections run in a single station, saving floor space and handling time.
The natural frequency sensor can use either a microphone or an accelerometer.
Based on MRLing invention patent CN108918658A.
Inspection does not damage or mark the disc surface.
